Escalante

My brother and I at what is probably one of my favorite places on earth – The Escalante, southern Utah.  This is the overlook at Crack-in-the-Wall where Coyote Gulch empties into the Escalante river.  It’s a 700 foot drop to the river below, and at this vantage point you can see the winding canyon as it stretches out over the horizon.  A lone arch is carved out in the upper part of the canyon wall across the way.
