Perspective… It’s a word that is as much a part of art as it a part of world view. It is a position from which one views an object, people, and the world at large. It is an ever-changing position influenced by space, time and experience; bringing new insights to otherwise unchangeable conditions and beauty to otherwise stale objects. This state of flux is the inescapable province of artists and explorers; those who see at once both the whole and its parts. This examination of life breeds of its own unabating conflict – the burning wanderlust to explore the unknown, against the deep call of home that lies in all things beautiful. It is enough to drive the soul to madness. But I for one, consider it a perfectly agreeable state of being.
